Oscar Scheller Releases Emo Banger ‘Half Eaten’

Served as a nostalgic homage to his inspirational music teacher, the singer-songwriter has given us a brief insight into the workings of his upcoming album “Boys Cry”

Marrying elements of 80’s synth-rock and 70’s psychedelia, Scheller has delivered another soothing taste of contemporary dream-pop, deftly displaying pockets of chorus-drenched guitars and lusciously stacked vocals.

This energetic new instalment not only serenades the ears with layers of contrasting melodies, but the lyrics retain an air of sincerity and purpose, aimed at championing the individual who sparked the creative mind of an artist who keeps going from strength to strength.

This song is a diary entry of the 14 year old me living in a new area, going to a new school and generally really struggling. ‘Half Eaten’ because I felt like there was half of me left, as I was being consumed by anxiety which took away my appetite for life. Shout out to Ms. Atkins, my music teacher, for the keys to the music room. That shit saved me for real!
